The Jamboree-on-the-Air (JOTA) is the largest Scouting event in the world. It is held annually the third full weekend in October; this year on October 18 – 20th. The objective of the JOTA is to use amateur radio to link Scouts to other Scouts and young folks around the world, around the nation, and in your own community. This year the Catalina Council through the auspices of the Radio Society of Tucson (K7RST) and our own Scout station, WN7BSA, will be conducting the event in an outdoor setting at the Double V Scout Ranch. Nearly all events will be at Ramada Grande.
