A Bike Rodeo is a bicycle safety clinic featuring bike safety inspections (and optionally quick tune-ups), and a safety lecture about the rules of the road taught using an interactive format on a safe and completely closed course that simulates traffic situations. Activities include helmet fitting, developing riding skills, and a journey through “Safety Town” to practice obeying traffic laws.
The participants are escorted through the course by a certified bike safety instructor assisted by knowledgeable youth and adults who point out hazards, safety tips, and explain how to apply the rules of the road.
