30 -day Fitness Challenge

Open to youth and adults

The Catalina Council Fitness Challenge award presents a great opportunity to encourage you and your Scouts to become stay active while in the Stay at Home order is place. The Fitness Challenge is designed to include any activity consisting of any movement that uses large muscle groups. Physical activity doesn’t have to be continuous to be healthy. Doing chores around the house counts and so does walking. Staying physically fit can help you stay healthy mentally and emotionally.  Eating the right foods and getting exercise can be part of living the Scout Oath to be physically strong and mentally awake.  Challenge yourself, your family and your friends. Be prepared to join in the great adventures ahead!

 

STEP 1:Download your Exercise Tracking Sheet below.

STEP 2: Do at least 30 minutes of exercise daily for 30 days following the Arizona Stay at Home guidelines of Social Distancing (minimum of 6 feet, gatherings of less than 10, wear masks if you feel vulnerable.  Stay home if you are sick).

STEP 3: Earn the patch by sharing your tracking sheet with your unit leader.  Did you participate in a unique or exciting activity or just super proud of your accomplishments?  Share your story on social media by tagging #azscoutstrong

STEP 4: Order your patch HERE for $5 (Free Shipping). Patches are estimated to be mailed starting 8/15/2020
