Camp Lawton Scout Camp

Camp Lawton is located in the Santa Catalina Mountains, about 60 minutes from Tucson, where mountain biking and hiking trails are abundant.

It is generally 20 degrees cooler than Tucson. Many improvements have been ongoing at Camp Lawton. These include the dining hall, staff cabins, pool, campsites, archery range, air rifle range, and campfire bowl.

2015 Angel Charity for Children Grant Recipient

Angel Charity for Children granted $275,000 to the Boy Scouts of America, Catalina Council for projects at Camp Lawton Scout Camp.

Thank you to the Angel Charities for your generous donation to help the Council better serve the youth in Southern Arizona at Camp Lawton.

History of Camp

Camp Lawton has been leased from the United States Forest Service since 1921 and has been continuously operated by the Boy Scouts of America, Catalina Council.
