The Catalina Council Fitness Challenge award presents a great opportunity to encourage you and your Scouts to stay active.
The Fitness Challenge is designed to include any activity consisting of any movement that uses large muscle groups. Physical activity doesn’t have to be continuous to be healthy. Doing chores around the house counts and so does walking. Staying physically fit can help you stay healthy mentally and emotionally.
Eating the right foods and getting exercise can be part of living the Scout Oath to be physically strong and mentally awake. Challenge yourself, your family and your friends. Be prepared to join in the great adventures ahead!
