- To get all of us outdoors individually or in safe, socially-distanced groups to clean and improve our local environment as the community celebrates both Earth Day and Arbor Day
- To reconnect with our Scouts and families, and invite friends to join in local, safe, outdoor service
Anytime during the month of April 2023 as an individual, small group (patrol or den), or as a large group (post, crew, troop or pack).
Anywhere in your local community! It can be as a Scouting activity, or join efforts with other organizations on Earth Day (Saturday, April 22, 2023) or Arbor Day (Friday, April 28, 2023).

- Log in to fill in the details of what, when, and where your project will be (due by March 20, 2023)
- Invite others to participate in your project
- Log your community hours into the Boy Scouts of America service hours reporting system
Register by March 27 and all who participate in a project will receive a Community Good Turn patch!

Catalina Council, BSA has been invited to partner with the Desert Museum and work to Save Our Saguaros!
Buffelgrass is an invasive species that chokes out native vegetation and allows wildfire to spread. Volunteers are needed to pull the grass from public lands to reduce the danger.
Register to join a pull, find contact information for a regularly scheduled monthly event by various organizations around Southern Arizona, or register your unit’s own grass pull event.
Please wear your activity uniform, and make sure event sponsors know that you are there with the BSA, and you are doing a Good Turn! Let’s help to keep our communities safe.
