Lifeguard Training is traditional lifeguard training provided by Scouting America to Scouters age 15 and older that would like to serve as lifeguards at Scout camps.

Prereqs
- 15 years of age on or before the completion of course / certification.
- Mature and dependable character and be a strong swimmer and be able to swim at least 550 yards.
- Completed and be current in CPR and AED for the Professional through any nationally recognized organization: ECSI, ASHI, United Heart or ARC. Please bring the certification card.
- Have Swimming and Lifesaving Merit Badges. Please provide MB cards.
- Have a current BSA medical form.
To Bring
This is an all day, outdoor experience. All participants need to bring:
- Backpack
- Water bottle
- Snacks
- Sun protection
- Outdoor attire (as applicable)
- Notebook, pens/pencils
- Close-toed shoes
- Face covering
