The Boy Scouts of America, Catalina Council offers different opportunities and activities to Scouts to improve their climbing skills. The Council also offers training courses which are hosted by the Climbing Committee.

Instructor Training for Leaders

Get ready for a summer of high adventure by taking the instructor climbing training class offered by the Climbing Committee. 

Southern Arizona is filled with great climbing and rappelling sites.  A minimum of two qualified climbing instructors are recommended for any Scout climbing and rappelling activity.  Prior climbing and rappelling experience is desired, but not required.
