The process of preparing and leading an Eagle Project is lengthy and difficult, but it is extremely rewarding. The information below will help scouts in the Cochise District to prepare themselves for attaining Scouting’s highest honor.

Eagle Scout Board of Reviews (BORs)

General Information
  • WHEN: 3rd Thursday of every month
  • WHERE: Location given when you RSVP
  • TIME: Time given when you RSVP

Other times will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Important Notes

Scouts must email the Cochise District Advancement Chair to setup a time for the board. Scouts must include Eagle Board of Review Request in the subject line.

PLEASE NOTE: Eagle Binders must be submitted by the last day of the month to be considered for the next month’s regularly scheduled Eagle Boards of Review.

Eagle Scout Binder/Packets

Scouts are recommended to do the following with their Eagle binders:

  1. Place application and all supporting documents in a 3-ring binder.
  2. Make sure your using the current Eagle application.
  3. Make sure you have all the signatures that are needed.
  4. Make sure your dates are correct in showing when you served in a leadership position.
  5. Please make sure your binder is labeled with full Scout name, Troop number, email, and phone number.

Eagle Scout Service Project Approvals (SPAs)

  • WHEN: Scheduled as needed every month
  • WHERE: Location given when you RSVP
  • TIME: Time given when you RSVP

Other times will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

PLEASE NOTE: Scout MUST obtain project approval from the Cochise District Advancement Chair BEFORE starting a project. The Scout is responsible and MUST call and set up the appointment.
