Council Update: Exploring a Possible Merger

Catalina Council is committed to keeping our Scouting family informed. Recently, our Key 3 leadership met with leaders from Grand Canyon Council to begin exploring the possibility of a merger between our two councils.

This is the very first step in an exploration process—no decisions have been made. Our goal is to better understand the opportunities and challenges a merger could bring. For the majority of our units, there would be no immediate changes. Meetings, activities, and the Scouting programs you deliver every day will continue as usual.

We are committed to being transparent and keeping you updated in real time. To explain this process and what it could mean for our community, our CEO has recorded a short video message. Please take a moment to watch the video below.

Thank you for your dedication to Scouting. Your commitment makes Catalina Council strong, and together, we will shape the future of Scouting for youth across Southern Arizona

Our leadership team remains focused on providing exceptional Scouting experiences while being responsible stewards of our resources.
